Successful Faculty participation in Student Information Day
After only being possible online the last 2 years due to the Corona pandemic, on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the Study Information Day could for the first time again take place in presence in the C.A.R.L. In addition to an extensive program of lectures consisting of presentations of study programs, general lectures on the subject of studying, specialized lectures and taster lectures, pupils could also get in touch with university members from the departments, students from the student councils and many other institutions at numerous information booths and clarify questions.
Of course, the Faculty of Civil Engineering also participated this year with an interesting program:
- Live presentations on the four degree programs Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Transport Engineering & Mobility, and Business Administration and Engineering: Civil Engineering.
- Live advising by the civil engineering student council, teaching coordinators and student advisors.
The study information day was very popular on Monday. Many students from all over North Rhine-Westphalia had arrived, so both the taster lectures (especially those for Civil Engineering) were very well attended, but also at the booth of the faculty and student council there was a constant hustle and bustle, many questions were asked - and also many answers were given.
In addition to the Study Information Day in presence, the most important information is made available in an online collection. Access data via the website of the Study Information Day 2023.
In conclusion, the organizers on the part of the faculty, but also the main coordination office of the Central Student Advisory Service are very satisfied with the course of the Study Information Day. You can get more impressions of the day in the picture gallery below.
