All guests are requested to arrive at the faculty building by 3.30 p.m. so that the celebration can begin punctually at 4 p.m. with greetings from the Rector of RWTH Aachen University and the Dean of the Faculty. Afterwards, an inaugural lecture will be held, followed by awards ceremonies for students with outstanding academic achievements and the honouring of doctoral candidates. The graduates' speech is followed by a ceremonial graduate award ceremony.

The official part ends around 19:00 with a warm buffet and a convivial get-together. The student body building organizes for this a party.

If you are a graduate, you will receive a personal invitation by post to your address at the Central Examination Office. Please indicate any changes of address in good time.

No, certificates are sent by the Central Examination Office of RWTH Aachen University.

All Master's graduates and all doctorates may bring along up to three guests.
