The Path to Going Abroad
Going abroad during your studies requires a lot of independent organization and comprehensive timely planning. Do not be scared off! Your efforts will be rewarded with a unique experience.
The Faculty for Civil Engineering would like to offer all of their students, regardless if pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree, the possibility to go abroad using one of the many exchange programs that are offered in cooperation with international partner universities. Many of these partnerships are part of European programs such as ERAMUS+, and have accompanying scholarships. Temporary stays abroad are possible for a maximum of two semesters at each level of study.
In order to support you on your path to going abroad, we have put together information and contacts that can help you plan your stay abroad. We also provide information concerning the offered mobility programs and funding possibilities suitable for your needs. Please use the university-wide information on mobility in addition to the information we offer on the faculty’s website. Furthermore, the International Office offers group advising sessions with various focal points every semester.
