Students of a Bachelor's program: Please note that you should have a maximum of 20 ECTS open per upcoming semester at RWTH until the stay abroad, as a stay is only possible in the Master's program.

The language requirements depend on the language that the chosen courses are held in. Students who choose only courses taught in English do not need to prove italian proficiency.

Proof of Language Skills at the RWTH Aachen University Language Center

Application Deadline at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at RWTH Aachen University 31. January for 1 to 2 Semesters as of the Winter Semester of the Same Year
Nomination Deadline at the Partner University

The nomination through the home university must be completed by the 1. July for a stay abroad in the autumn termn. The nomination through the home university must be completed vy the 1. December for a stay abroad in the spring term. The application to the Universita di Bologna should be submitted to the university immediately after the nomination.

(Nomination at the partner university takes place only after successful application at RWTH Aachen University.)
