Bachelor students (at the time of the exchange the bachelor degree program should be completed)
Master students

Students of a Bachelor's program: Please note that you should have a maximum of 20 ECTS open per upcoming semester at RWTH until the stay abroad, as a stay is only possible in the Master's program.

Students should have a grade point average of at least 2.5 at the time of application.

It is possible that not all of the faculty's courses are open to exchange students. The partner university and exchange reports may provide further information.

Please note that, in general, the majority of courses taken must be chosen from the cooperating faculty. At the University of Iceland, 30 ECTS per semester must be completed.
