Women STEM-Award 2015

 

Master's student Tiana Trumpa receives the 2015 Women's STEM Award.

The master's thesis of student Tiana Trumpa (Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in construction), supervised by Dr.-Ing. Roland Meyer, teaching and research field Waste Management (LFA), entitled "Lean Consumption in Industry 4.0 - Development of a Business Model Innovation to Increase Resource Productivity through Planned Maintenance." was awarded the Women's STEM Award 2015 in the subject area "Industry 4.0" by the jury at the 9th MINT Day in Leipzig.

The award honors the final theses of outstanding female students and graduates in the STEM disciplines of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. It is awarded by Deutsche Telekom AG, audimax MEDIEN GmbH and the "MINT Zukunft schaffen" initiative and comes with 3,000 euros in prize money for the overall winner and 500 euros for the winners in each of the individual subject areas.
