As one of the founding faculties of the RWTH Aachen University, the Faculty of Civil Engineering looks back on a 150-year history. With the bundled competence of more than 25 chairs and associated institutes, the Faculty of Civil Engineering faces global challenges and finds answers to future questions. These include, in particular, the consideration of sustainability, energy efficiency, conservation of resources as well as water supply and disposal. Our practice-oriented research with numerous cooperation partners from business and industry alike flows directly into teaching so that we train highly qualified engineers. Or top positions in international rankings regularly reflect this.
