The study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering is very demanding and shows high demands on the professional performance of the students, especially in the introductory phase of the bachelor courses, but also during the entire course of studies. The means for quality improvement should therefore be used for the targeted subject-specific support of the students. The faculty aims primarily to increase the graduation rate and to improve the level of education of the students. The measures to improve the study situation at the faculty are implemented through the following projects, among others:

• Sustainability in road construction - further development of the course "Construction Technology of Traffic Arrangements II"

• Support in the topic of BIM in interdisciplinary factory planning

• Introduction to the Finite Element Method: programming exercises and extension with English translations

• Multi Hazards - Case-based learning in disaster research

• "Applied ethics" in the Leonardo project

• Electron microscopy for building material scientists

• Conceptual design of lecture-based electronic self-tests 'Automated Urban Transportation Systems'

• Continuation of the small group exercise "Railway Systems"
